The Real Reason You’re So Tired, Disconnected & Not Like Yourself
If this sounds familiar — I want you to know that it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m not here to tell you to “think positive”, “motivate you” or give you tips on how to cope with life.
I’m here to show you the real core of the problem, the root of your un-happiness and most importantly how to dig yourself out of this hole you’ve gotten into.
The vast majority of people are never taught this kind of information so they think “this is just the way life is” but what they don’t realise is a simple shift in 2 specific systems within the body is all it takes to completely transform.
⚠️For me, when these two systems were malfunctioning (as they are in post people today!) I felt so bad about myself, I hated so much about my self, I felt sad, low energy, like I wanted to be invisible and just hide away. I didn’t feel worthy of love and respect and I certainly didn’t give those things to myself. I felt stuck and honestly, life was hard.
🧠⚖️ But that all changed once I began to heal my nervous system and balance my chakras. These two systems are running your life and once you take control of them, you take control of your life.
Now my life looks completely different, I’m a happy, positive, confident person and I’ve never felt better. My “life-long” health problems have disappeared and I’ve never felt better, so now its my turn to teach others how to do the same.
When your nervous system is dysregulated and your chakras are blocked, your body isn’t focused on thriving — it’s focused on surviving. And in survival mode, joy, connection, ease, and confidence feel completely out of reach.
And once you start gently supporting both of these systems… things begin to shift. The heaviness eases. Your sensitivity starts to feel like a strength. You begin to feel calmer, clearer, and more like you again.
Let’s start with your nervous system — because until it feels safe, nothing else really can.
The Nervous System — Why You Feel Emotionally Unsafe
Your nervous system is basically the communication network between your brain and your entire body — connected through something called the vagus nerve. It runs from your brain down through your face, chest, gut, and all the way into your pelvis and throughout your body — constantly sending and receiving signals about what’s happening around you.
Its job? To keep you safe.
Which sounds lovely in theory… until it starts misreading everything as a threat.
Your Body Thinks There’s a Lion… But It’s Just Karen
You see, your nervous system evolved to protect you from actual danger — like being eaten by a lion. But nowadays, we’re not running from wild animals — we’re navigating passive aggressive emails, Instagram comparison, unresolved trauma, and people who give us side-eye for no reason (yes, Karen… I saw that).
Thing is, your nervous system doesn’t know the difference.
😰That tight feeling in your chest, that wave of panic when someone looks at you funny, or that urge to shut down during conflict?
To your nervous system, that might as well be a lion.
🚨So it sounds the alarm — fight, flight, freeze, or fawn — and suddenly your body is acting like you’re in actual danger.
Your heart races. Your stomach churns. Your thoughts spiral.
You overthink, you people-please, you judge yourself, you try to figure out what you did wrong and how to fix it.
⚠️ All because your system has gone into survival mode… when all that really happened was someone didn’t smile back at you.
And if you’ve been stuck in that mode for years (which most of us have), it’s exhausting.
You’re burning through energy just trying to get through the day.
Imagine running from lions on your commute every morning — by Friday, you’d be physically, mentally, and emotionally wrecked.
Well… that’s what’s been happening inside your body, day after day.
How to Teach Your Body: “You’re Safe Now”
So what’s the answer?
You need to retrain your nervous system. Teach it what’s truly a threat… and what’s just Karen with a bad attitude.
And honestly, it’s not as hard as it sounds.
✨ Start with slow, deep breathing — even 5–10 minutes in the morning and 5–10 at night.
✨ Inhale deeply through the nose, feel your belly rise… then exhale slowly through the mouth.
✨ That’s it.
Do this every day for 30 days and you’ll start sending a new message to your nervous system:
“I’m safe. You can stand down now.”
When your nervous system feels safe, you start to feel safe.
Your body softens. Your emotions regulate. And you finally get back the energy you’ve been losing to unnecessary survival mode.
This is the first step. And it’s more powerful than you think.
The Chakra System: — Here’s How to Understand It
So now that we’ve talked about your nervous system, let’s move into your energy system — specifically, your chakras.
Chakras are the energy centres in your body.
And even though we can’t see them, when they’re blocked or drained, we absolutely feel it — emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Each chakra links to a different part of you — your safety, your self-worth, your emotions, your confidence, your voice… the list goes on.
When one of them is out of balance, it doesn’t just cause “spiritual” problems — it shows up in your body, your thoughts, your mood, and even your behaviour.
Let’s walk through the first five chakras — the ones most deeply connected to that stuck, low, not-good-enough feeling we’ve been talking about.
🔴 Root Chakra — “I am safe”
This chakra sits at the base of your spine and governs your sense of safety, stability, and belonging. When it’s out of balance, everything feels shaky.
You might feel anxious for no reason.
Disconnected from your body.
Like the ground beneath you isn’t solid and something bad is always just around the corner.
You live on edge, constantly bracing for impact — even when life is quiet. And all that tension drains your energy, big time.
Your body gets tired. Your immune system gets weaker. You stop trusting yourself… and the world.
And here’s the thing: confidence cannot grow where safety doesn’t exist.
You have to feel safe first — in your body, in your life — before anything else can really flourish.

🟠 Sacral Chakra – “I am allowed to feel and enjoy”
This is your emotional centre. It’s where your creativity, pleasure, sensuality, and self-worth live — and when it’s blocked, life loses colour.
You might feel numb.
Or overwhelmed by emotions you don’t understand.
You may feel like joy and playfulness have gone missing… and you’re not even sure if you’re allowed to enjoy life anymore.
There’s often shame here. Guilt. Emotional repression.
You might find yourself apologising for how you feel — or judging yourself for being “too much” or “not enough.”
This chakra carries all the old messages that said your feelings weren’t valid… or that pleasure had to be earned.
But when this energy is healed and flowing again, something shifts.
You feel lighter. Freer. Your creativity returns. Joy feels possible again.
And you stop questioning whether or not you deserve to feel good — because deep down, you know you do.
🟡 Solar Plexus Chakra – “I am powerful”
This is your inner fire — the place where your confidence, self-trust, and drive live.
When it’s blocked, that fire feels out.
You second-guess everything. You shrink your ideas before they’ve had a chance to grow.
You might want more — but feel too small, too scared, or too uncertain to go after it.
You question your worth. You defer to others. You talk yourself out of dreams before you even try
But when this chakra is balanced, that changes.
Your spark returns. Your energy lifts. You stop playing small and start acting like you matter — because you do.
Healing this centre reconnects you to your willpower, your clarity, and your ability to move forward without needing anyone else’s permission.
💚 Heart Chakra – “I am loved and I belong”
This chakra is all about love — but not just romantic love.
It’s your ability to give and receive, to feel connection, to be soft and strong at the same time.
When it’s blocked, love can feel unsafe.
You may shut down emotionally to protect yourself. Or over-give in hopes that someone, anyone, will love you back.
You might feel invisible. Unlovable. Like there’s something in you that makes people leave
But none of that is true.
It’s just that your heart’s been hurt — and it’s trying to protect you.
Healing this chakra isn’t about being vulnerable with everyone. It’s about slowly opening that door again — so you can let love in without losing yourself in the process.
And most importantly, so you can start giving that love to yourself, too.
🔵 Throat Chakra – “I am allowed to speak and be heard”
Your voice lives here.
Your truth. Your boundaries. Your needs. Your ability to show up as your full self
And when this chakra is blocked, that all gets pushed down.
You stay quiet. You hold back. You hide pieces of yourself because you’re scared of being judged, misunderstood, or rejected.
Maybe you were told as a child to “be quiet” or “stop making a fuss.”
Maybe you’ve been shut down so many times that it doesn’t even feel worth it to try anymore.
But your truth matters. You matter.
And when this chakra is healed, your voice returns — not with force, but with clarity, calm, and strength.
You speak without apologising. You ask for what you need. And you finally feel like you again.
So… How Do You Balance Your Chakras to Get All the Benefits?

But in the meantime, there’s plenty you can start doing right now to begin shifting your energy gently and powerfully:
✨ Walks in nature (especially barefoot if you can — hello, root chakra)
✨ Deep breathing — which, as you now know, calms your nervous system and supports energy flow
✨ Chakra meditations (YouTube has loads, and I’ll be releasing my own soon)
✨ Wearing the colours of the chakras you feel are blocked
✨ Eating colour-coded foods (yep, nature is clever like that)
✨ Mindful showers or baths to reconnect with your body
✨ Spending time with people who make you feel loved and seen
✨ Creative expression, gentle movement, or simply slowing down and listening to your own needs
