Why Manifestation Won’t Work…

When people hear the word trauma, they often think it has to be something extreme — a major accident, abuse, loss, or a huge life-altering event. And while that absolutely can be the case, trauma isn’t always loud and obvious.
🤫 Sometimes, trauma is quiet. It’s subtle. It’s the buildup of small things over many years — the comments that chipped away at your confidence, the times you had to shrink yourself to avoid conflict, the feelings you pushed down because there was no space for them.

🔴 Root Chakra
This chakra is all about safety, stability, and feeling grounded in life. Trauma that blocks this chakra often comes from:
🔴 Financial instability growing up or as an adult
🔴 Moving homes often or never feeling “settled”
🔴 Growing up in chaos or unpredictability
🔴 Parents who made you feel like your needs were “too much”
🔴 Not being emotionally or physically cared for as a child
Blocked root chakra symptoms:
🔴 Always anxious or hypervigilant
🔴 Trouble relaxing or trusting life
🔴 Constantly waiting for something to go wrong
🔴 Money never feels safe or consistent
🟠 Sacral Chakra
This chakra governs your emotions, creativity, relationships, and pleasure. Trauma here often looks like:
🟠 Being told you’re “too emotional” or “too sensitive”
🟠 Feeling like your emotions were inconvenient or unwanted
🟠 Caregivers who didn’t model emotional regulation
🟠 Early rejection, abandonment, or cheating in relationships
🟠 Sexual shame or lack of body autonomy (including subtle violations)
Blocked sacral chakra symptoms:
🟠 Emotional numbness or overwhelm
🟠 Struggling to enjoy life or feel joy
🟠 Disconnect from your body or sexuality

How Blocked Chakras Keep You in Freeze Mode (and Block Manifestation)
When your chakras are blocked by trauma — whether it’s big, small, obvious, or subtle — it affects your entire nervous system. And when that happens, your body shifts into survival mode.
🥶You’ve probably heard of fight or flight. But when the trauma or emotional overwhelm is ongoing — or feels like there’s no way out — your system goes into freeze. Freeze mode is when everything slows down, numbs out, or shuts off.
Your energy is just stuck in a place that still doesn’t feel safe — and your body is doing its best to protect you.Here’s the thing though: You can’t manifest from freeze.
When your nervous system is shut down and your lower chakras are holding trauma, your energy field is closed off. And if your energy is closed, what you want can’t come in — no matter how much you want it, think about it, or visualize it.

My Story: When Nothing Worked — Until I Finally Listened to My Body
✨When I first discovered manifestation, I was obsessed. I thought I’d finally found the answer — a way to change everything. To heal, to feel better, to create the life I actually wanted.
📓 So I went all in. I did the scripting, the visualising, the affirmations, the morning routines, the journaling, the late-night YouTube deep dives. I was determined to do it “right” and finally shift my life.
But no matter how consistent I was, no matter how badly I wanted things to change, nothing really happened. And worse, I started to feel like maybe I was the problem.
Like I was doing something wrong, or I didn’t believe hard enough, or I just wasn’t “high vibe” enough to deserve the life I wanted. It was incredibly frustrating. I was trying so hard, and still getting nowhere.
❌ What I didn’t realise back then was that my body was holding onto trauma I hadn’t even acknowledged. Not because I was ignoring it on purpose, but because I didn’t know it was there.
I thought trauma meant something obvious or extreme — like abuse, a serious accident, something you could clearly point to. But mine looked like years of keeping my feelings in, of pushing through exhaustion, of trying to keep the peace, of making myself smaller to make other people comfortable.
It was the kind of trauma that builds slowly over time, especially when you’re sensitive, and eventually your body just can’t hold it anymore.
🥶 All the manifestation techniques in the world weren’t going to work while my energy was still blocked and my nervous system was stuck in survival mode.
I was constantly anxious, fatigued, emotionally drained, and completely disconnected from my own needs. And eventually, it started showing up physically — in illness after illness, symptom after symptom. My body was literally shouting at me to listen.
🩹 Everything began to shift when I stopped trying to force change from the outside and started actually listening to myself — my body, my emotions, my energy.
🌱 When I began processing what I’d been carrying, when I started healing my chakras and releasing stuck emotions, that’s when manifestation finally started to feel natural. Not forced, not fake, but real and aligned.
How to Start Releasing Trauma and Clearing Your Chakras
Releasing trauma and clearing your chakras isn’t about fixing yourself or rushing to be “healed.” It’s about creating space in your body and energy so what you desire can finally flow in. And that starts with something most of us were never taught how to do: actually feeling our emotions.
💠 1. Feel What’s Been Suppressed
If you’ve been emotionally overwhelmed for years, or you’ve had to stay strong for everyone else, your system may have learned to push feelings down just to get through the day.
That’s not your fault — it’s how your body protected you. But if those emotions were never allowed to be felt, they didn’t just disappear. They got stored — in your tissues, your nervous system, and your chakras.
🧘♀️To release what’s stuck, you don’t need to relive the trauma or figure out exactly what caused it. You just need to stay present.
When emotions come up — sadness, frustration, heaviness, even numbness — try not to judge or overthink them. Don’t attach stories.
Just notice how they feel in your body. Is it tightness in your chest? A knot in your stomach? A fog in your head? Stay with that sensation. Breathe into it. Let it be there without trying to fix it. That’s how stuck energy begins to move.
🌬️ 2. Use Breath to Create Safety
Your breath is one of the easiest, most effective ways to soothe your nervous system and open your energy. When trauma is still stored, your body doesn’t feel safe — and breath helps shift that.
You don’t need anything complicated. Just a few minutes a day of slow, conscious breathing can calm your system and open the flow of energy.
Try box breathing (inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4) or simply slow your inhale and exhale through your nose. It might seem too simple to matter — but over time, it creates a deep sense of internal safety, which is exactly what your energy needs to open up.
🖊️ 3. Let It Move Through Writing
Journaling can be a powerful way to give your energy and emotions somewhere to land. You don’t need to know what to say — sometimes just starting with “I feel…” is enough. Let yourself write without editing or trying to make sense of it.
This isn’t about logic — it’s about release. You might uncover things you didn’t even realise you’d been holding, and that’s exactly what allows it to finally shift.
The most important thing is to be gentle with yourself. If you’ve been repressing emotions for a long time — even unintentionally — they’ll feel uncomfortable when they start to surface.
That doesn’t mean something’s wrong. It means your system is doing exactly what it’s meant to do: release. Stay conscious. Let the feeling move through. You don’t need to force anything. Just allow.
